"Do it once and you will be hooked for life"

Kicking off at midnight, the route offers plenty of ups and downs plus a few flat bits. Your team will need physical and mental toughness to tackle this challenge. Some say if you can survive this with a smile, you can survive anything!

You may even see Paddington at the finishPhotoPLOD is tough but achievable for those in good shape. Teamwork will be the key to your success. The sense of achievement you will feel as you cross the finish line will be immense.

The Plod is the ultimate walking achievementThis magnificent event began more than 30 years ago, and has seen many weary feet winding their way over beautiful UK landscapes. Now, settled firmly on the stunning South Downs Way, the competitive element is stronger than ever as teams battle it out for the winners’ staff!

The PhotoPLOD is generously supported by Focus on Imaging and photographic competitions and prizes keep the historical ‘imagery’ element of this walk alive! It is certainly the most stunning destination to enjoy with a camera!
