PhotoPLOD Terms and Conditions

The participants agree to:

  1. Arrange payment on behalf of his/her team a registration fee of £100 (per team) to secure a place on the PhotoPLOD 2009 event, which is organised on behalf of Action Medical Research(AMR). Please note that this registration fee does not count towards your sponsorship total.
  2. Raise a minimum team target of £1000 in sponsorship.
  3. raise the sponsorship money using legal methods and complying with the advice given in Action Medical Research communications.
  4. keep accurate records of fundraising
  5. comply with all guidelines concerning use of the AMR logo and any other promotional materials/tools.
  6. do nothing that will bring the names or logos of AMR into disrepute.
  7. not use the Charities name or logo for any purpose without written permission after the termination date of this agreement 8 weeks after the event has taken place.
  8. make it clear that he/she is not an employee or agent of the Charity.
  9. inform all potential donors and sponsors that

a) all donations are for Action Medical Research.
b) donations and registration fees will not be refundable to the Participant, even if he/she does not participate in, or complete, the event. Money will only be refunded directly to the donor upon written request.
c) all cash and cheques (made payable to Action Medical Research) should be sent to the Participant and not to the Charity.

  1. send all sponsorship monies received together with sponsorship forms and donor details to PhotoPLOD, Action Medical Research, Vincent House, Horsham, RH10 2DP as soon as sponsorship monies have been collected, but in any event no later than 28 days after receipt.
  2. to communicate these terms and conditions to all team members.
  3. to adhere to all health and safety advice issued by the charity relating to participation in PhotoPLOD 2009

13.Participants in the event must be satisfied that there is nothing in their medical condition, which could mean that there is danger in taking part. Action Medical
Research does not accept any liability if anybody is injured on the event, unless it is as a result of the negligence of Action Medical Research or of its agents or
employees. Action Medical Research advises participants to have a medical check-up before participating in the event and to abide by any advice that might be given as
a result of such check-up.   

Insurance
You must understand that you take part in this event at your own risk. You absolve Action Medical Research and the organisers from responsibility for any injury incurred or loss sustained to property through your participation in this event, unless caused through the negligence of the charity.

Safety & Accidents
We issue all walkers health & safety notes prior to the event and at the pre-walk briefing session.
