The Milton Rooms in Malton will be transformed into a festive wonderland this October as the Ryedale Christmas Fair returns, raising vital funds for Action Medical Research, the UK-wide charity dedicated to saving and changing children’s lives through groundbreaking medical research.
Shoppers can browse a hand-picked selection of unique gifts, artisan products and festive treats, with over 20 independent stallholders showcasing their craft, including:
- Lozzy’s Emporium – tweed handbags and accessories
- Darcy @ Wolf – handmade jewellery
- Top Banana Publishing children’s books
- Rachel Grace Art – pet portraits, prints and homeware
- Ginny D – recycled silver and gemstone jewellery
- The Pyjama House – traditional children’s nightwear
- Botanica Ceramica – wild garden-inspired ceramics
- Doodlebugs – organic baby and children’s clothes & toys
- Staal Smokehouse – artisan smoked Yorkshire foods
- Kathryn Cuthbertson – handcrafted chocolates
- Yorkshire Dama Cheese – the famous squeaky cheese

…and many more, offering everything from wooden crafts, glass engravings and paintings to sustainable jewellery, children’s books and festive foodie favourites.
The fair runs from 10am – 3.30pm on Saturday 25 October at The Milton Rooms, Market Place, Malton YO17 7LX. Entry is £5 (including tea/ coffee and a homemade scone), with children going free.
All proceeds go to children’s charity Action Medical Research, the charity that has helped pioneer life-changing medical breakthroughs for children for over 70 years – from developing ultrasound scanning in pregnancy to helping beat polio in the UK, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths.
