Children’s charity Action Medical Research is pleased to announce that they will be the charity partner for the Gloworm Festival 2021, taking place on 14th and 15th August 2021 at Thoresby Park in Nottinghamshire.

Following the cancellation of the event in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Gloworm returns to the festival site bigger, and better than ever! Action is super excited to be the charity partner, helping to raise awareness and funding for the charity to further invest in research to help develop treatments, vaccinations and cures for sick babies, children and young people.

Action Medical Research will be attending alongside its mascot Paddington™, who has been supporting the charity for over 40 years. There will be Paddington™ themed activities across the weekend, including several meet and greets with Paddington™ himself!

There will also be the chance to meet the incredible Elijah’s Star team, who will be rowing the Atlantic Ocean for Action Medical Research this December. The team will be on hand to meet with the crowds, and will also be bringing along their impressive 32-foot long vessel for families to see (and take a peep inside at) to help bring their challenge to life!

Gloworm Festival is a family event that welcomes grown-ups and their little (or not so little) people to play in a warm and welcoming environment. You can enjoy live music and performances from some of your most loved TV stars and tribute acts as well as getting the chance to meet some of them up close and personal. From fair grounds to farms, circus workshops to graffiti, there really is something here for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets start from just £15, with the option to add a donation to Action Medical Research at checkout to help us further invest in research that can improve and change the lives of thousands of babies and children each year.
