An exclusive evening celebrating cycling excellence and supporting medical research
Action Medical Research is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Champions of CycleSport Dinner, set to take place on Wednesday 19 November 2025 at the prestigious Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
Sponsored by Garmin, BDO and Erdinger Alkoholfrei, with additional support from Vires Velo, this black-tie gala offers cycling enthusiasts a unique opportunity to dine alongside some of the sport's most celebrated figures, including renowned champions Stephen Roche, Sean Yates, Sean Kelly, Alex Dowsett, Dani Rowe MBE, and Pfeiffer Georgi.
The event promises an unforgettable experience, including interviews with cycling legends hosted by Broadcast Sport Commentator of the Year 2024, Rob Hatch. The evening will also feature speeches and support from influential names in the sport Matt Stevens, Hannah Walker and Rebecca Charlton, plus a superb three-course meal and entertainment.
Last year’s star-studded event saw up and coming riders Leon Atkins, Noah Hobbs and Henry Hobbs join forces with established legends Sean Kelly, Sean Yates, Stephen Roche and Malcolm Elliott. The 2024 line up was completed by big names in the sport including Yanto Barker, Rochelle Gilmore, Matthew Holmes, Jon Mould, Hannah Walker and Connor Swift.
Proceeds from the event will support Action Medical Research's mission to fund groundbreaking research aimed at tackling diseases that devastate the lives of children. The charity has funded medical breakthroughs, including developing the first polio vaccines in the UK and the use of ultrasound in pregnancy.
"The Champions of CycleSport Dinner is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together the greatest names in cycling. It’s more than a dinner – it’s an unforgettable night at the heart of the cycling world, raising funds and awareness for Action Medical Research, a charity who work tirelessly to improve the lives and children and families across the UK,” says Champions of CycleSport ambassador, Alex Dowsett.
The event is supported by Garmin, who make products that are engineered on the inside, for life on the outside, accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP and ERDINGER Alkoholfrei who will provide thirst-quenching isotonic drinks for guests.
