The Dine with Davina ladies’ lunch will be held on Friday 20 June at Hylands Estate, Chelmsford

Get ready for an afternoon of glamour, entertainment and laughter as the iconic Davina McCall hosts Dine with Davina Essex at the stunning Hylands House on Friday, 20 June 2025.

This exclusive fundraising event promises an unforgettable experience, all while raising vital funds for Action Medical Research – a leading charity dedicated to funding medical research to help save and change children’s lives.

The family of 10-year-old Aiden from Witham have been supporting Action Medical Research for many years and parents Fleur and Keith are excited to attend this new event. Aiden benefited from revolutionary cooling therapy, a treatment Action Medical Research helped to fund, which is saving lives and reducing disability in babies with birth asphyxia.

On the day, guests will be welcomed with a glass of bubbly at the drinks reception, where they’ll also have the chance to take a photo with Davina herself. . The afternoon will be packed with hilarious celebrity anecdotes from Davina, exciting games and live entertainment.

As well as an engaging chat with Davina, the event will feature an incredible live auction, giving guests the chance to win exclusive, money-can’t-buy prizes. All proceeds from the event will support Action Medical Research in funding groundbreaking medical advancements to help children like Aiden.

When he was born, Aiden suffered from birth asphyxia (a shortage of oxygen) and was whisked away to the intensive care unit where a specialist team used cooling therapy to reduce his body temperature to protect him from brain damage. Action Medical Research supported groundbreaking research on cooling and techniques for measuring brain temperature and identifying babies that would potentially benefit from this therapy. Aiden is now a happy little boy who loves to play and be around people. He has cerebral palsy but a combination of therapies is helping him get stronger. Aiden’s mother, Fleur, says: “If our son Aiden didn’t receive cooling therapy there is a very high chance he wouldn’t be here today, or not as the wonderful 10-year-old boy we have. This charity funds incredible research that has helped to save my son and countless others. We are delighted Action Medical Research and Davina McCall are bringing this event to Essex and hope to meet some of their fabulous supporters on the day.”
