Epilepsy appeal

Meet Sophie

Sophie was just 11 years old when she began to have seizures and was diagnosed with a form of epilepsy. She suffered multiple seizures a day – even with very high doses of medicine – leaving her constantly at risk of serious injury. But thanks to a breakthrough research project, funded by Action, 21-year-old Sophie is now seizure-free. She has gone on to visit 30 countries and is now in her last year of university.

If it wasn’t for medical research I may well still be suffering from epilepsy. That’s why I hope you can help Action as they continue to unlock new treatments that can benefit other children with epilepsy.
