Lendlease

Founded in Sydney in 1958, by Dutch immigrant and innovator Dick Dusseldorp, Lendlease was born out of a vision to create a company that could successfully combine the disciplines of construction, development and investment.

It is now a leading international property and infrastructure group with operations in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas. Their vision is to create the best places; places that inspire and enrich the lives of people around the world.

Companies must start justifying their worth to society, with greater emphasis placed on environmental and social impact rather than straight economics."

‘Lendlease Guvnors Club’ Christmas Charity Ball

800 guests attended the stunning Old Billingsgate in London and enjoyed a ‘Mad Hatter Tea Party’ evening including live music, casino and edible table decorations! Lendlease said: “We always like to pick causes that are close to the hearts of the guests at the Ball. The charity’s story touched everyone.”

Donations went towards research into a rare genetic illness called neurofibromatosis type two (NF2), which tends to be diagnosed during childhood and early adulthood. People with NF2 develop multiple non-cancerous tumours of the nervous system. These can cause distressing symptoms including hearing loss, speech impairment, balance problems and paralysis.
