If you are looking for ways to fundraise for Action Medica Research or have your own ideas or even taking on your next big challenge, we are here to help you organise and fundraise.
However you choose to raise funds, your support will help us fund vital research to support children and their families.
How do I get involved?
Thank you for your interest in raising money for Action Medical Research. The first set to fundraising is choosing your idea. If you need some inspiration, get in touch with us on community@action.org.uk and we can send you a list of ideas.
I am under 18, can I still fundraise?
Yes you can, we would love for you to fundraise for Action, just make sure your parent/guardian takes responsibility for ensuring your fundraising is safe and legal
Can I fundraise online?
Yes you can, and the easiest way to raise money and promote your fundraising is by setting up a JustGiving Page. Head to justgiving.com and you’ll have all the instructions you need to help you
Can I organise a charity bucket collection?
You can organise a bucket collection in your local area, but please ensure you obtain a street collection permit from your local council. We are happy to discuss this with you and how best to do this. Contact us on community@action.org.uk
Can my school get involved?
Schools can get involved with fundraising. Discuss your idea with your teachers and get in touch through our website by completing the form and telling us all about your event or contact us on community@action.org.uk for further help
How do I pay my money to Action after my fundraising event?
We accept donations by cheque or bank transfer. Please make your cheques out to Action Medical Research and pop into an envelope to Action Medical Research, FREEPOST
