Spurred on and inspired by Business Manager Dan Sinclair after one of his twin daughters, Scarlett, sadly died the Cross Street team have loyally fundraised for Action.
For 2018/2019 Dan set the bar high for the fundraising target or Action, again mostly through challenge events. The energetic team of sixteen kicked off with our Trek The Night Cotswolds Way, challenging themselves over the 40 mile course, pushing on through the night and breaking the sleep barrier.
The same month they took on a cycle sportive in Scotland taking on the Trossachs Ton and only a month later cycled from London to Paris. A team of four went on to Race The Sun, from a dawn start in Penrith they cycled to the base of mount Helvellyn to climb to the summit before returning to base and cycling to lake Thirlmere. After canoeing to an island and back they returned, as a team, to the start/finish point before the sun sets. The grand finale planned for 2019 is for Dan to trek to Everest Base Camp.
