Our much-loved fundraising mascot Paddington Bear™ takes to the big screen again this year with the release of the film Paddington 2 in November. We can’t wait to see what he gets up to!

British cycling’s golden couple Jason and Laura Kenny (nee Trott) joined a star line-up at our Champions of CycleSport Dinner. The pair now have 10 Olympic gold medals between them. Also among those supporting Action was Jody Cundy OBE, winner of double gold at the Rio Paralympics. The event raised an incredible £280,000.

Current Miss Scotland, Lucy Kerr has pledged to raise funds for Action Medical Research during her year-long reign. She hopes to raise up to £50,000 to support Professor Robert Mairs’ Glasgow-based research to improve treatments for children with neuroblastoma, a type of cancer.

Go West stars Richard Drummie and Peter Cox helped to raise £20,000 when they performed at our ladies’ lunch in Kent last October.

Five-time British Rally Champion Jimmy McRae and former Grand Prix racer Steve Parrish joined guests at our annual Celebration of Motorsport Dinner in Belfast. Two-time Superbike World Champion Jonathan Rea and record-breaking road racer Ryan Farquhar also attended.
