Danny's story

Danny was just three years old when he was diagnosed with Hunter syndrome. It was heartbreaking news for his parents. Now nine years old, Danny is gradually losing the skills he once had. He can no longer talk and is struggling with his balance and has a heart murmur.

“We will lose our beautiful boy to Hunter syndrome. But each new development brings real hope. And any new hope is worth fighting for. So that families in the future don’t have to feel that the bottom is dropping out of their world.”
