Arun Estates is the largest independent estate agency in the South East of England, with over 110 branches operating under five different trading brands.
Arun Estates have been challenging themselves to take on gruelling walks, cycle rides and runs to fundraise for Action Medical Research since 2010.
Since then, the company (operating under 5 different trading brands: Arun Land & New Homes, Ward & Partners, Cubitt & West, Douglas Allen and Pittis) have helped to raise well over £100,000! This has enabled us to fund important research into developing a new MenB vaccine and also to find out if drug treatment can work alongside cooling therapy to help babies suffering from brain damage.
Challenge events
Arun Estates’ Group Managing Director David Lench embarked on the first challenge – the Three Peaks Bike & Hike - in 2010. Since then he’s accomplished other personal challenges; climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and riding from Land’s End to John O’Groats, rising over £69,000!
Inspired by their MD, the rest of the team have taken part in Blenheim Triathlon, Box Hill Challenge, Kingston Run and Color Runs in London and Brighton. Employees have also organised fundraising events including quiz nights, football tournaments, gala dinners, a dance competition, raffles and cake sales.
