These terms and conditions apply to 60k Reasons virtual event, and by registering for the event, you agree to comply with them and confirm that you satisfy the age requirements set out below.

By accepting the terms of the event you agree to the following conditions:

Registration

1. 60K Reasons is a virtual fundraising event open to UK residents aged 16 or over. Anyone under the age of 16 is permitted to take part with a parent or guardian but the Everydayhero fundraising page must be set up by the parent/guardian.
2. Only registered participants are eligible to take part in the 60k Reasons Virtual Event.
3. There is no registration fee to enter the 60k Reasons virtual event but all participants are encouraged to raise at least £60 for Action Medical Research.
4. Action Medical Research does not take responsibility for any health issues during your training for the event or any incidents that occur during the 60 days. If you have any health concerns prior to, or during, your training or the event please consult with your doctor.
5. All participants enter the event at their own risk. Action Medical Research is, therefore, under no liability in contract, negligence, or otherwise for any matter occurring during the event period.

Fundraising

6. You will raise money using legal methods and complying with the advice given in the Charity’s online fundraising pack.
7. All funds raised in the name of Action Medical Research must be paid as soon as practicable to Action Medical Research.
8. All sponsorship raised will go towards supporting the work of Action Medical Research. Donations will not be refundable to the participant, even if they do not participate in, or complete, the event. Should the participant not be able to take part in the event and your sponsors require a refund, the request should be made in writing (letter or email) before we can return their monies to them.
9. Participants will do nothing that will bring the name or logo of the Charity into disrepute.

Use of personal data

10. Action Medical Research will retain your contact information for the purposes of servicing this event. We will only contact you about future events if you consent to ongoing marketing updates.
11. Action Medical Research reserves the right to use any photography or videos taken of participants and posted on Action Medical Research’s social media pages on behalf of the Charity to raise awareness of and/or funds for Action Medical Research.
